Mustard Field Dreams Greeting Cards (Pack of 10)

These cards feature Ojai, CA’s landscape at the peak of its years-long drought in Lake Casitas. Before the heavy rainfall in the spring of 2023 and 2024, Lake Casitas, the main water source for Ojai and Ventura, CA, was down to nearly 30% capacity. During this time, although the lake was almost a puddle, the beautiful, although invasive, wild mustard flowers took over the land exposed by the drought. Luckily, after two seasons, Lake Casitas filled to 100% capacity for the first time since 1998. Mustard Field Dreams was painted in 2024 by Ren D’Angelo with gouache paint on 14”x11” cold press watercolor paper.
